The story is tangled and complicated for now, but that is how it leaves you in suspense and keeps you coming back wanting for more reading.

Summary chapter one to three
The book, 'ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK', begins with four violent and mysterious murders in four different cities across the world. The murders are somehow linked to a word "Prima. The name could be a name of a place or it could be a name of a group of powerful people (i m not entirely sure). The name was found on a piece of paper on one of the victim's pocket ; Mr. Stevens's pocket. His body was found under a bridge in Manhattan, New York. The victim was Diane Stevens's husband. Dian Stevens is a character in the book who witnessed a murder committed by a mobster named Anthony Altieri. Even though, right before his death her husband warned her that it was not such a good idea to testify against the mobster, Dian decides to testify against Anthony . After the second hearing in court, where Diane testified, an attempt on her life was made by a man who posed as a car jacker and shot at her while she sped away escaping barely.Shortly after her escape of the assassination attempt on her life, Diane was visited by two detectives who bore the bad news of her husband's death to her house. Dine blamed herself for the death of her husband. However, Mr. Stevens's murder was connected to his work and the other three murders that happened on the other part the world. There is no trace that connects these murder to the other three. Especially the second piece of paper that was found in Stevens's pocket could throw the detectives of the trail of what really is the mystery behind the murders. The paper indicates that the victim was involved with drug lords and mobsters...........

ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK is the book I choose to read for the reading part of this course. It is a mystery novel by Sidney Sheldon. I choose this book because, if it is any thing like the previous books i read by the author, it should be a thriller or mystery maybe about a spy or some kind of adventurous story. All of his books, the ones i read up to now, are worth every penny i spent to buy them. They are all very interesting stories and most of them were best sellers on the new york times every time they were published.I am sure that this book will be as interesting as the others because Sidney always exceeds my expectations in the stories he writes in his book.
